Add Blurt to Squarespace

Create your Blurt account

Sign up at getblurt.app - free, no credit card needed. Create a bot and train it on your Squarespace site URL.

Copy your embed code

From your bot's dashboard, click "Copy embed code". You'll get a <script> tag with your unique bot ID.

Open Squarespace Settings

Log into your Squarespace account and go to your website. Click "Settings" in the left sidebar menu.

Go to Advanced → Code Injection

In Settings, scroll down to "Advanced" and click on it. Then click "Code Injection". This opens a section where you can add custom code to every page on your site.

Paste in the Footer section

You'll see a "Footer" text area. Paste your Blurt embed code (the full <script> tag) into this field. Do not paste it in the "Header" section - it must go in Footer.

Save and preview

Click Save. Visit your live Squarespace site - the Blurt chat button will appear in the bottom-right corner within a few seconds.
