How long does it take to set up?

Less than 10 minutes. Paste your URL, wait about 2 minutes for training, then copy one line of code into your website. That's it.

Do I need a developer?

No. If you can copy and paste, you can set up Blurt. The only 'technical' step is pasting one line of code - we show you exactly where.

What information does Blurt read from my website?

Blurt reads all publicly accessible pages - product descriptions, prices, FAQs, opening hours, contact info, and anything else written on your site. It does not access password-protected pages or your admin areas.

What if my website changes?

Just hit Retrain from your dashboard. The process takes about 2 minutes. Your chatbot will then answer based on your latest content.

Does it work in Swedish?

Yes - the chatbot automatically responds in the same language your customer writes in. Swedish, English, Arabic, German, any language. No setup needed.

What happens if the chatbot doesn't know the answer?

It says so - politely. It won't make things up. If a question is outside your website content, it tells the customer it can't help with that and suggests they contact you directly.

Can I customise how the chatbot introduces itself?

Yes. You can set a custom name, welcome message, and primary color from your dashboard. On the Pro plan, Blurt branding is also removed.

How accurate are the answers?

Very accurate for questions about your own business. Blurt uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) - it searches your actual content before answering, rather than guessing. It only answers what it can find on your site.

What counts as a conversation?

One conversation = one chat session. A session can have many back-and-forth messages. If the same visitor reopens the chat in the same browser session, it's still one conversation.

What happens when I hit the conversation limit?

The bot pauses until the start of next month. You can upgrade to Pro anytime to keep conversations going - takes about 30 seconds.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no commitments, no cancellation fees. One click in your account settings and you're done. We hate dark patterns too.

Is there a free trial of Pro?

The Free plan is effectively a trial. Use it for as long as you want before upgrading. We're working on a dedicated Pro trial, coming soon.

What websites does it work on?

Any website - WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, custom sites, anything. As long as you can add a script tag, Blurt works.

Will the chat widget slow down my website?

No. The widget script loads asynchronously - it has zero impact on your page load time or Core Web Vitals scores.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your website content is stored securely and only used to answer questions from your visitors. We never share or sell your data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Which AI model powers the chatbot?

Blurt uses Claude by Anthropic for generating responses - one of the most accurate and safe AI models available. Website content is embedded using OpenAI text-embedding-3-small for semantic search.
