Create your Blurt account

Sign up at getblurt.app - free, no credit card needed. Create a bot and train it on your Shopify store URL. Blurt will learn your products, pricing, policies, and FAQs.

Copy your embed code

From your bot's dashboard, click "Copy embed code". You'll get a <script> tag with your unique bot ID.

Go to Online Store → Themes

In your Shopify admin, click "Online Store" in the left sidebar, then click "Themes".

Open the theme code editor

Next to your current theme, click the three-dot menu → "Edit code". This opens Shopify's built-in code editor.

Open theme.liquid

In the left panel under "Layout", click on "theme.liquid". This is your store's main template file that wraps every page.

Paste before </body>

Use Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F) to search for "</body>". Paste your Blurt embed code on the line just before that closing tag.

Save and view your store

Click the Save button in the top right. Visit your live Shopify store - the Blurt chat button will appear in the bottom-right corner.
